About The Position

As Client Solutions Manager, you will be working directly with our commercial Oil & Gas sector clients in delivering world-class customer service. This involves managing an existing portfolio of Energy clients, driving the renewal cycle, handling day-to-day policy changes, interfacing with insurers, and marketing policies as required. You will support a designated portfolio of Energy accounts, playing the lead role in business retention and continually building upon customer relationships. You will review accounts at renewal, taking the necessary steps in placing coverage required by the client, re-marketing when required, and adhering to binding authority set out by carriers. You will respond to client inquiries quickly and efficiently, maintaining a quick turnaround time for any actions required on behalf of the client. Additionally, you will identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities, driving the creation of quality leads, and working with Account Executives in binding the client. You will consistently act to upgrade insurance market knowledge, keeping abreast of new products and policy changes, and work with Account Executives on cross-selling opportunities and accessing resources within Gallagher.

Requirements

  • Secondary School Diploma required
  • 3+ years of Commercial Insurance Brokering experience required
  • Active and in good standing Insurance Broker’s License

Nice To Haves

  • College or University Degree preferred
  • Experience within a specific insurance vertical (i.e. construction, manufacturing, professional lines etc.) strongly preferred
  • CAIB, CIP, CRM or other relevant certifications/designations highly valued
  • Knowledge of EPIC considered an asset
  • Being solution oriented
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to develop deep relationships with clients and build synergy with colleagues quickly
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
