About The Position

As the Client Solutions Manager on the Select team, you will provide outstanding client service to Gallagher's Small Medium Clients. While working on a fun and collaborative team, you'll get to carry out a wide range of duties. You will be managing an existing portfolio of clients - driving the renewal cycle, handling day-today policy updates, talking and building relations with insurers and marketing policy's.

  • Have an active and in good standing general insurance license within one of the Atlantic provinces or ability to obtain upon hiring.
  • Active and in good standing Level 1 Nova Scotia License.

Nice To Haves

  • Commercial Insurance Brokering experience and/or experience as a Commercial Underwriter is considered an asset
  • CAIB, CIP, CRM or other relevant certifications/designations highly valued
  • Multiple provincial licensing will be considered a strong asset
  • Additional Licensing across the Atlantic will be considered a strong asset
  • Knowledge of EPIC considered an asset

Responsibilities

  • Supporting a designated portfolio of small and medium business clientele, playing the lead role in business retention and continually building upon customer relationships
  • Evaluate accounts at renewal, taking the vital steps in placing coverage required by the client, re-marketing when required, adhering to binding authority set out by carriers
  • Respond to client inquiries quickly and efficiently, maintaining the quick turnaround time for any actions required on behalf of the client
  • Recognize upselling and cross-selling opportunities, driving the creation of quality leads, working with Account Executives in binding the client
  • Consistently acting to upgrade insurance market knowledge, staying ahead of new products and policy updates
  • Work with Account Executives on cross-selling opportunities and accessing resources within Gallagher
