RES is seeking a Client Solutions Manager that will market integrated delivery projects directly to prospects and clients in mitigation, water quality, and resilience. The position is vital to the region’s sales and business development function and promotes RES solutions throughout the Southeast region. You’ll serve as the face of RES to clients, agencies, and industry partners, helping identify and close opportunities for ecological restoration, water quality, and resilience solutions. This role blends relationship-building, strategic planning, and technical insight to position RES as a trusted advisor and industry leader.

Requirements

  • BS/BA in Environmental Science, Business, Engineering, or related field
  • 3+ years of experience in a related industry, dealing with complex solutions with multi-year sales cycle and multiple stakeholders
  • Experience assessing and managing project timelines, identifying risks, and aligning teams to meet deliverables
  • Experience interpreting financial models and communicating financial health of deals
  • Experience with contracts and key provisions; legal awareness in deal structuring
  • Love building lasting relationships and solving complex client challenges
  • Comfortable presenting to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Communicate clearly in writing and in person
  • Know when to bring in the right internal experts
  • Can read the room, adapt your approach, and keep pushing forward with resilience and urgency

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with relevant environmental regulations and permits/approvals (e.g. CWA 404/402/401, NWP/IP, NPDES, ESA)
  • PMP or advanced training in project or deal management
  • Knowledge of stream/wetland design and construction methods
  • Relationships with local, state, and federal regulators in your region
  • Experience in the review and preparation of regulatory documents and deliverables and responding to agency comments
  • Experience with science, design and/or construction of wetlands

Responsibilities

  • Market integrated delivery projects directly to prospects and clients in mitigation, water quality, and resilience
  • Promote RES solutions throughout the Southeast region
  • Serve as the face of RES to clients, agencies, and industry partners
  • Help identify and close opportunities for ecological restoration, water quality, and resilience solutions
  • Work closely with land, regulatory, design, and project teams to pursue and win business opportunities in your assigned market
  • Identify qualified leads
  • Manage external relationships
  • Lead proposal development and deal structuring
  • Track permitting timelines
  • Understand deal components
  • Manage cross-functional resources
  • Represent RES during key client meetings and industry events
  • Guide internal teams on project pursuit strategy
  • Present financial summaries to clients
  • Represent RES at conferences and industry forums
  • Travel regionally to visit project sites, meet with regulators and clients, and represent RES at conferences and partner events
