About The Position

Greencross Client Services is hiring an experienced Veterinary Nurse to support pet owners and Greencross clinics across Australia from a remote or optional North Ryde office location. The role combines clinical knowledge, patient advocacy, telephone triage, customer service, veterinary support, and appointment coordination. Remuneration is $32.70 per hour. The part-time schedule is 1 p.m. to 6 p.m., Monday to Friday. Equipment is provided; remote workers need a reliable internet connection, an ergonomic workstation, and a quiet workspace.

Requirements

• Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing.
• A minimum of 4 years of veterinary nursing experience.
• Clinical confidence and a passion for exceptional customer service.
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment and remaining calm under pressure.
• Confidence making accurate and timely telephone triage decisions.
• Experience using RxWorks.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to follow detailed processes and procedures.
• Ability to work independently while staying connected and engaged with a remote team.
• Strong communication skills and enjoyment of helping pet owners.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional telephone triage and general pet health advice.
• Assist clients with appointment bookings and enquiries.
• Support Greencross clinics nationwide.
• Manage website enquiries and customer service requests.
• Assist with Pet Health Reminders and other business initiatives.
• Deliver outstanding customer experiences while supporting positive patient outcomes.
