About The Position

This is a full-time, onsite, Client Services Technician 1 position located in Peoria, IL. The role involves working in the sample receiving department of an environmental testing laboratory. Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to perform work in a lab or office setting
• Ability to remain standing for long periods
• Ability to work around strong odors
• Ability to wear required PPE (lab coat, safety glasses, gloves)
• Mobility to work in a lab and office setting
• Use standard office and lab equipment
• Stamina to sit for extended periods of time
• Ability to exert up to 20 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently to lift, carry, push, pull or move objects
• Vision to read printed materials and computer screens
• Hearing and speech to communicate in person or over the telephone

Nice To Haves

• Previous customer service experience
• Previous shipping experience
• Previous warehouse experience
• Experience in a laboratory or environmental testing setting

Responsibilities

• Receiving shipments of samples
• Unpacking the sample coolers
• Verifying the samples against the customer’s paperwork
• Logging the sample into our system
