About The Position

Trout, Ebersole and Groff, LLP (Trout CPA) seeks a Client Services Lead - Dental Industry in Lancaster, PA. This role involves signing tax returns, providing tax planning and compliance guidance to dental industry clients, leading business development efforts, training and mentoring team members, refining firm procedures, and managing the firm's dental industry group.

Requirements

• U.S. Bachelor’s degree (or foreign degree equivalent) in Accounting.
• Three (3) years of experience in the job offered or related accounting occupation.
• Experience preparing and signing federal and state tax returns as preparer of record.
• Experience advising dental industry clients on tax strategies, business structures and financial considerations pertinent to dental practices.
• Experience with business development and client relationship management within professional service industries, with a proven track record of expanding client portfolios in niche markets such as dental practices.
• Experience developing staff, including mentoring team members, conducting technical training sessions, and establishing standardized procedures to improve efficiency and client service delivery.

Responsibilities

• Signing tax returns and assuming responsibility for the accuracy and completeness of filings.
• Communicating directly with clients, specifically in the dental industry, to provide proactive tax planning, compliance guidance, and advisory services.
• Leading client acquisition and business development efforts, specifically building relationships within the dental industry.
• Leading internal training sessions and mentoring team members to support professional development.
• Developing and refining firm procedures and workflows to enhance operational efficiency and service delivery.
• Leading the firm’s dental industry group, including strategy, growth initiatives, and team management.
