OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE: The Client Services Director is a position whose key areas of responsibility are as follows: New Business Development – 50% Be a significant contributor to business growth Prospect pharmaceutical and biotech companies for new opportunities for Fingerpaint services Lead new business activities including project scoping and sales mapping Lead teams in closing new business opportunities Leverage, manage and grow a professional network of clients Active Client Management – 30% Grow existing client relationships through new opportunities Manage client relationships establishing long-term relationships for repeat business Monitor project progress, providing expert guidance Act as a liaison for clients in understanding and exploring the broader value added by Fingerpaint Group Material Development & Team Leadership – 20% Be an active contributor, engaging with deliverables as a team leader Responsible for creating and co-creating client-facing materials like pitch presentations, kickoff presentations, etc. in setting the tone for Fingerpaint experience Partner with internal teams to evolve and improve processes for all aspects of project delivery with a focus on maximizing quality, collaboration, and speed Ideal Candidate: Proven sales / business development outcomes Self-starter and accountable for building a roster of client relationships Efficient and effective working style as deadlines drive many of our timelines Demonstrates fundamental business communication skills, both written and spoken, to all level of an organization (Team leads, Executives, C-suite) Energy, enthusiasm, and the ability to work under pressure Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously Confident problem-solver and experience leading process improvement efforts Proactively seeks opportunities to increase knowledge, skills and abilities Expectations of travel for conference, new business pitching and client management

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience
  • Experience using AI tools and CRM applications (Hubspot, Salesforce, etc.)
  • Business Development, Sales, Account management experience in creative services, advertising, or marketing preferred
  • Pharmaceutical or pharmaceutical services experience appreciated
  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • Skilled in Microsoft suite of products (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.)
  • Proven sales / business development outcomes
  • Self-starter and accountable for building a roster of client relationships
  • Efficient and effective working style as deadlines drive many of our timelines
  • Demonstrates fundamental business communication skills, both written and spoken, to all level of an organization (Team leads, Executives, C-suite)
