About The Position

Keith and District Healthcare is seeking a motivated and organised Client Service Coordinator to support the delivery of high-quality catering, cleaning and laundry services within the residential aged care environment. Reporting to the Executive Officer / Director of Nursing, the Client Service Coordinator is responsible for coordinating operational activities and assisting catering, cleaning and laundry services staff to meet resident needs. The role works closely with staff, residents, families, suppliers and external stakeholders to ensure services are delivered efficiently, safely and in accordance with relevant quality and food safety standards. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong operational coordination and people management skills who enjoys working in a supportive rural healthcare environment focused on quality care and continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work effectively with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Experience coordinating operational services including catering, cleaning and laundry functions.
  • Experience in rostering, workload coordination and supporting staff to work effectively as a team.
  • Initiative and sound judgement when resolving operational issues and improving service delivery.
  • Knowledge of workplace health and safety principles, quality improvement processes and customer service standards.
  • A current Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check (NCCHC) for employment involving unsupervised contact with vulnerable groups is required for this position.
  • DHS NDIS Worker Check required.
  • Immunisation Risk for this position is – Category A (direct contact with blood or body substances).
  • SA Health Services are required to implement the Addressing vaccine preventable disease: Occupational assessment, screening and vaccination policy in the workplace.
