About The Position

The Client Services Associate/Asset Management role includes receiving, sorting, and then classifying hardware assets, Receiving and inspecting incoming hardware assets, shipping and receiving products, Sort and classifying hardware based on predefined categories, Maintaining accurate records of all hardware assets, Ensuring proper storage and handling of hardware assets and supplies to support the onsite business service center, replenishing/organizing/ordering office supplies (pens, paper, toner), insuring copy/print machines are functional and stocked, serving as a backup to the front of office (reception/concierge), and providing light maintenance/cleaning. Overall, this position continuously offers the highest level of service to all client and SPS employees while maintaining a professional image of the company by providing prompt, courteous and efficient service.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma (or equivalent) required.
  • Ability to work assigned work hours determined by manager.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Analytical abilities and aptitude in problem-solving.
  • Superb written and verbal communication skills.
  • Current knowledge or ability to learn computer-based systems required for functions of position.
  • Required to maintain an overall professional appearance and attitude.
  • Adhere to all policies and procedures required.

Nice To Haves

  • 1+ years prior work experience in warehouse, shipping and receiving preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • PC skills MS Office Suite experience.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Good organizational skills.
  • Working knowledge of MFD equipment.
  • Requires knowledge and understanding of shipping/receiving procedures and ability to comprehend instructions.
  • Possesses ability to work independently and capable of completing projects.
  • Ability to determine correct method and packing material as well as validate packing slips for accuracy of incoming and outgoing materials.

Responsibilities

  • Accept and deliver orders, ensuring shipments are visually inspected for damage and reconciled with shipping documentation.
  • Tag assets and update asset data repositories accurately.
  • Maintain secure storage and proper organization of assets, ensuring a controlled environment.
  • Perform asset pickup and delivery on-site, maintaining an accurate inventory of assets and associated hardware.
  • Oversee and audit asset entries in the database to ensure proper tracking and compliance.
  • Submit monthly touch count reports to ensure up-to-date asset management.
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to streamline operations and provide excellent customer service.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures, including training on best practices and security measures.
  • Safely wipe data from desktops or laptops that are no longer in use or planned for disposal.
  • Provide direct customer service via phone, email, or in-person interactions.
  • Travel to assigned locations as required and perform duties outside regular business hours, including nights and weekends, with overtime compensation.
  • Ensure high levels of attention to detail, accuracy, and consistent follow-through in all tasks.
