About The Position

Open Sky is seeking an organized and detail oriented financial administrator to serve in the full-time position of Client Services Administrator. Under the supervision of the Client Services Manager, they will oversee Rep Payee tasks such as monitoring accounts for resource limit, benefit status, process rep payee requests and monthly payment/transfers for clients. They will also act as a liaison and resource for program personnel and individuals served on Social Security issues and questions and assist program personnel with paperwork on an ongoing basis. The ideal candidate for this role will have previous experience with non-profit bookkeeping, excellent communication skills and possesses the ability to manage their time effectively and efficiently. This is an in person position and has a schedule of Monday-Friday day shift.

Requirements

  • High school diploma, or equivalent required
  • Valid drivers license and acceptable driving history, required.

Nice To Haves

  • Associates Degree in Accounting or related field, preferred.
  • Experience with non-profit bookkeeping, preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure accuracy of budgets sent by team and implement as indicated.
  • Provide necessary feedback/guidance to teams as needed to ensure compliance
  • Ensure proper transfer of funds from the Central Account to fund the True Link cards in accordance with monthly budget or team request.
  • Complete necessary journal entries in the accounting software.
  • Assist with the completion and submission of all Social Security reports, including new applications and annual reports.
  • Record monthly Social Security deposits into each client account.
  • Send monthly Rep Payee Transaction Reports and Room & Board/Loan Statements to program management for review and filing.
  • Assist in training program management regarding agency Client Funds and Charges for Care Policies and Procedures, as well as Social Security requirements.
  • Assist with audits of program records and support all other internal, as well as external, audit procedures.
  • Ensure program management are aware of past due Room & Board/Loan accounts.
  • Manage food stamp entitlements on behalf of clients served including scanning cards for monthly funding.
  • Ensure monthly bills are paid on time for Rep Payee Individuals.
  • Assist with management of Client Services daily mail.
