About The Position

The Client Service Supervisor (CSS) is an onsite position and does not have remote opportunities. The Client Service Supervisor (CSS) acts as a resource in identifying and resolving client servicing issues, troubleshoots complex matters, and assists the Client Service Representatives (CSR) and Tellers with daily assigned tasks. The CSS observes and provides coaching to CSRs and Tellers to enhance the client experience and operational effectiveness and is responsible for day-to-day CSR and Teller scheduling. The CSS supports the Client Service Manager (CSM) in onboarding and training of new CSRs and Tellers. The CSS is responsible for providing a variety of paying and receiving functions for clients in person, via phone, and through the mail, ATM and Night depository, including processing deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, cashier's checks, cash advances, stop payments, and wires. The CSS is responsible for balancing each day's transactions and verifying cash totals. The CSS will assist clients promptly, courteously, efficiently, and professionally and they assist clients with bookkeeping and checking account problems. The CSS answers client questions regarding the Bank's products and services and they are responsible for actively cross selling the Bank' s products and services. The CSS might also perform other duties including signature verification, and remote deposit capture review. The CSS assists in ensuring all department duties and responsibilities are performed accurately, timely and efficiently and according to Bank policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines. The CSS will also assist the CSM and the Regional Branch Administrator with other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Advanced knowledge of Teller and Operations procedures.
  • Strong understanding of banking products, services and operations.
  • Minimum of 2 years of Teller experience in the financial services industry or 1 year Teller experience combined with managerial experience in another industry.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Professional appearance, dress and attitude.
  • Excellent math skills.
  • Ability to use Microsoft Office software package.
  • Ability to operate related computer hardware and other business equipment including adding machine, copy machine, telephone, and encoder.
