Requirements

  • High school diploma
  • Some administrative, customer service, or office experience, preferably in the insurance industry.
  • Active state specific Property Casualty Insurance agent’s license required or the ability to acquire license within three months of hire.
  • Invests in understanding and applying insurance principles to consult with clients and meet their strategic needs.
  • Actively contributes to workflows, processes, and deliverables, using agency systems to provide a world-class client experience and ensure compliance.
  • Able to understand clients, prioritize tasks, manage status, and deliver impactful solutions proactively.

  • College degree preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Independently perform the daily tasks required to efficiently manage daily client service needs which may include but not limited to: Prepares certificates, binders, Insurance and Claim Manuals and auto ID cards as needed
  • Invoice agency bill transactions for new and renewal policies, monthly installments, endorsements, and audits.
  • Order policy changes from carriers, update agency management system/exposure schedules and set follow-up tasks.
  • Processes endorsements by checking coverages, invoicing, and updating agency management systems.
  • Investigates and corrects omitted items and commission differences on premium discrepancies (policies, audits and endorsements)
  • Assists in the gathering and preparation of client renewal documents and saves to agency management system. This could include, schedules, applications, validate experience mod projection or worksheet, loss runs and summary, and any other pertinent information.
  • Policy handling to include retrieval of policies from carrier websites or electronically received, prepare and save policies to agency document management systems, submit per procedures for policy checking/review, and electronically deliver policies to the insured.
