For more firm information, please visit www.osam.com What is the Client Service Specialist responsible for? We are seeking a Client Service Specialist who will primarily focus on transaction request follow-up, the operational set-up of new SMA accounts, and account transition analysis. This individual may also have some relationship management responsibilities. The successful candidate will be considered a problem-solving partner for our clients and our sales team. The need for this hire is driven by the growth of our Canvas platform.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 2+ years of relevant work experience in a similar role.
  • Previous experience working in financial services and/or an asset management firm required.
  • Superior work ethic.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Must have the ability to be pleasantly persistent when needed.
  • Self‐starter.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Intellectual curiosity.
  • Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to effectively problem solve in a timely manner.
  • Must maintain a strong working relationship with both internal stakeholders and external clients.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working for a direct indexing provider in a client service or operational capacity, a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Effectively respond to ad-hoc advisor inquiries.
  • Facilitate responses to account transition requests.
  • Accurately onboard new accounts and ensure the appropriate settings are applied.
  • Provide an excellent advisor experience that encourages them to want to use Canvas more.
  • Work with colleagues on complex cases.
