Our fast-paced financial firm, REAP Financial Group, LLC, in Austin, TX is seeking to add a Client Service Specialist to our team! The ideal candidate for this role will be someone who has the desire to work in the financial industry long-term and contribute to the growth of our business. Job Description: The purpose of this position is to service the existing client base with all service requests including beneficiary changes/withdrawals, incoming client service calls, database management, and client appointment preparation including updating client account summaries for their review meetings, preparing the main advisor for his/her review meetings, and preparing issued accounts for delivery.

Requirements

  • Financial or Insurance Industry experience required
  • 3+ years working alongside a Financial Advisor in a fast-paced office environment preferred
  • Experience with MacOS, preferred, and the ability to learn new software quickly
  • CRM experience
  • Texas Life Insurance License or Series 65 preferred
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Excellent communication; written and verbal
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proactive management style and consistent follow-through
  • Excels in identifying problems quickly
  • Highly efficient, i.e., doesn’t get bogged down with details
  • People-Centric, i.e., open while displaying strong people acumen

  • Strong ownership of projects with the ability to let things go when necessary

Nice To Haves

  • Texas Life Insurance License or Series 65 preferred

Responsibilities

  • Receive incoming client service calls in a friendly manner
  • Complete each service request and resolve client issues
  • Complete and process new business applications, following up on pending business and contacting individual clients with updates
  • Manage the new business submitted and new business issued in reporting tool
  • Order and stock new business applications and marketing brochures
  • Update and review database/CRM to reflect account status regarding new business and/or service
  • Maintain an organized, compliant, and efficient filing system
  • Complete and process all applications for business submitted by Advisor
  • Prepare client review summary for upcoming appointments
  • Maintain professional communication with clients and staff
  • Assist with client updates, reports, and mailings
  • Assist Advisor(s) with educational workshops and client events as needed
  • Assist in setting client appointments and assist Advisor(s) with pre-appointment preparation
  • Maintain current Advisors licenses and appointments with agencies and companies
