Client Service Representative
About The Position
BluePearl Pet Hospital is hiring for Veterinary Receptionists. This role is imperative to the success of the hospital, serving as the first BluePearl Associate that the client sees. You will ensure that each client receives the care and attention that they need. The position requires excellent customer service, the ability to offer guidance, comfort, and support, and the capacity to function calmly and compassionately in situations that can be very emotional and difficult for clients. The team inspires growth and fosters a collaborative environment, with opportunities to work with leading veterinary medicine professionals.

- Possess unrestricted, current authorization to work in the U.S. and not require future sponsorship for an employment-based green card
Responsibilities
- Greet and make friendly eye contact every time our hospital entry door opens to offer the individual warm and professional acknowledgement
- Always offer a friendly smile, strong eye contact and an approachable demeanor
- Be a compassionate listener
- Speak clearly, slowly, and calmly in person and on the telephone in a way that clients easily understand
- Assess immediately upon arrival each client’s rare need, as well as the pet’s general condition
- Determine whether an emergency arrival is a “stat” versus “standard” emergency
- Respond to non-patient calls or visitors and connect them to the appropriate team member
- Confirm all appointments in advance ensuring clients receive accurate information about preparing their pet for the appointment
- Offer emotional support and resource materials to grieving clients in a compassionate and discreet manner
- Serve as a liaison between clients and service agencies during handling of pet remains by ensuring a complete, accurate, and compassionate process
