About The Position

Requirements

  • Previous customer service experience preferred; veterinary or medical office experience preferred
  • Strong computer skills and ability to learn practice management software
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and remain organized in a fast-paced environment
  • Comfortable handling sensitive or emotional situations with empathy and professionalism

Responsibilities

  • Greet clients and patients warmly, providing a positive and professional first impression
  • Answer incoming calls, schedule appointments, and address client inquiries
  • Manage appointment flow to support efficiency for the medical team
  • Accurately enter and update patient and client information in the computer system
  • Process payments, invoices, and financial transactions
  • Communicate clearly with veterinarians, technicians, and kennel staff to ensure continuity of care
  • Provide clients with information regarding services, treatments, and general pet care
  • Handle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail
  • Assist with administrative duties such as filing, email communication, and record keeping
  • Maintain a clean, organized front desk and lobby area
