About The Position

Neel Veterinary Hospital is seeking a compassionate, dependable, and customer-focused Swing/Overnight Veterinary Client Service Representative (CSR) to join our team. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced veterinary environment and enjoys providing exceptional service to clients during evening and overnight hours. As the first point of contact for our clients, you will play a vital role in creating a welcoming experience while supporting our doctors and technical staff in delivering outstanding patient care.

Requirements

Previous veterinary receptionist, veterinary client service, or veterinary hospital experience preferred.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of veterinary terminology is preferred.
Comfortable using computers and veterinary practice management software.
Ability to remain calm, professional, and compassionate during emergencies.
Dependable with excellent attendance and punctuality.
Must be available to work swing and/or overnight shifts , including weekends and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

Provide friendly, quality customer care to patients and clients
Process invoices payments
Answer phones, schedule appointments, and obtain all necessary medical history
Determine the status of the patient’s immunizations and tests
Communicate with the doctor and technical staff on the patient’s arrival and necessary treatments
Fill prescriptions, food requests, and over-the-counter products as instructed by a veterinarian
Accurately input data into computer software
