About The Position

DoveLewis Veterinary Emergency and Specialty Hospital is hiring for full-time Client Service Representatives to join their Client Experience Team. This role is ideal for quick-thinking, multi-tasking, and problem-solving individuals. As a member of the Client Experience Team, the representative serves as the primary point of contact for clients and their pets within a high-volume emergency hospital setting. The position demands prior experience in fast-paced, client-facing environments due to its complexity. Responsibilities include simultaneously managing in-person client interactions, multi-line phone systems, and administrative tasks while maintaining accuracy and composure. The role involves regularly supporting clients in urgent and emotionally charged situations, requiring effective prioritization and coordination with medical staff and external partners. Success hinges on strong organizational skills, sound judgment, and the ability to perform efficiently under pressure.

Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of high-volume, in-person customer service experience required
  • Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience handling high-stress interactions with professionalism and empathy
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work quickly without sacrificing accuracy
  • Proven ability to remain composed and effective under pressure
  • Proficiency with computers and ability to learn new systems quickly
  • Ability to type at least 45 WPM while actively engaging with clients
  • Comfortable operating multi-line phone systems while assisting in-person clients
  • Accurate cash handling skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required (relevant experience may substitute)
  • Consistently manage multiple workflows without dropping details
  • Make sound decisions quickly in a fast-moving environment
  • Bring proven experience that translates directly to this level of pace and responsibility

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with appointment scheduling (medical scheduling strongly preferred)
  • Veterinary or medical field experience preferred
