About The Position

Candidate must be able to work in a volume-driven, fast-paced environment. It is necessary to complete tasks in accordance with client guidelines and in a quick and efficient manner.

Requirements

  • Meticulously examine and categorize mail to ensure accurate sorting and delivery.
  • Proficiency in organizing prioritizing various types of mail and packages.
  • Ability to manage time efficiently to meet sorting and distribution deadlines.
  • Accurate and fast data entry for tracking and logging incoming and outgoing mail.
  • Understanding of mailroom security protocols, particularly in handling confidential or sensitive information.
  • Effective written and verbal communication to interact with colleagues, couriers, and other staff.
  • Basic customer service skills when receiving and delivering mail to various departments and individuals.
  • Ability to work a flexible work schedule, including weekends and evenings and varied work hours as needed to complete workload; overtime may be required.
  • Possession of a valid driver’s license and ability to meet insurability standards for any work-related driving.
  • Ability to download 2-factor authentication application(s) on personal device, in accordance with company and/or client requirements.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment background investigation based on client requirements, including but not limited to, criminal history, motor vehicle report, work authorization verification and medical screenings. The medical screenings may include one or more of the following: drug test, bloodwork for TB and titers, nicotine testing, physical exam, color-blind testing, vaccines such as Hepatitis B and C, MMR, Varicella, Tdap, Influenza and Covid-19.
  • Must be able to regularly or frequently talk and hear, sit for prolonged periods, use hands and fingers to type, and use close vision to view and read from a computer screen and/or electronic device.
  • Must be able to frequently stand and walk, climb stairs, and lift equipment up to 50 pounds.

  • Call center management experience preferred.
  • Experience with dialer systems and terminology preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Receive and unbox incoming mail.
  • Categorize and sort mail according to established guidelines.
  • Properly dispose of protected health information (PHI) material in designated HIPAA bins.
  • Exemplary attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Proficient in managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Commitment to processing mail until all tasks are completed, maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
  • Uphold a strong commitment to business ethics, including confidentiality and data privacy.
  • Maintain consistent performance to achieve predefined performance metrics.
  • Strictly adhere to compliance regulations and security policies.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state and local laws.
