About The Position
VCA Lakeside Animal Hospital is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Client Service Representative to join our team! At VCA Animal Hospitals, we take our mission to help animals seriously. VCA Lakeside Animal Hospital is looking for a personable and highly professional individual who can greet our owners and companion animals with a welcome and by name. As the face of VCA, the Client Service Representative sets the tone for the practice as we build and maintain each customer's trust and confidence in our abilities. The CSR is the pivot around which the hospital operates.
Requirements
- Must be able to lift 40lbs
- Must be able to help technical staff as needed to restrain and to lift animals for direct care.

Responsibilities
- Customer service functions that include greeting visitors, answering telephones, texting clients for follow-ups/medication reminders and guiding clients and their pets to exam rooms.
- Scheduling and confirming appointments
- Presenting and explaining fees, including processing payments
- Managing/acquiring medical records, charts, reports and correspondence.
- Hospital maintenance (including removal of animal waste) and ensuring that facility is always neat and clean—both inside and outside.
