About The Position
VCA Noah's Ark Animal Hospital in beautiful Goleta, CA is seeking a full-time Client Service Representative to join our team! We are dedicated to delivering high quality patient care to companion and exotic pets in Santa Barbara County. We are looking for a passionate and motivated individual to help complete our team! Our Client Service Representatives provide high-quality and exceptional customer service at all times. As the face of VCA, the Client Service Representative sets the tone for the practice as we build and maintain each customer’s trust and confidence in our abilities.
Requirements
- 1 year of Customer Service experience preferred
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- At least one year of proven past experience helping customers
- High School Diploma/GED or equivalent
- Excellent listening and communication skills
- Compassion for pets and people
- The ability to integrate new information into problem-solving
Responsibilities
- Scheduling and confirming appointments
- Recommending, selecting, and obtaining products and services, including prescriptions
- Answering questions regarding products and services, including educating clients on general animal husbandry and non-medical pet care (i.e., heartworm prevention, housebreaking, and flea & tick control)
- Placing outbound calls for follow-ups and reaching out to prospective clients
- Presenting and explaining fees, including processing payments
- Answering questions regarding our services
- Managing medical records, charts, reports and correspondence
