About The Position

At Animal Wellness Center, we're dedicated to providing compassionate, high-quality veterinary care for pets and the people who love them. Our close-knit team takes pride in creating a welcoming, supportive environment where clients feel cared for and every patient receives exceptional attention. We're looking for a friendly, organized, and service-focused Veterinary Client Service Representative to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys delivering an exceptional client experience while helping support the day-to-day success of a collaborative front desk team. While this is not a formal leadership position, candidates with experience mentoring teammates, coordinating schedules, or helping improve front desk operations are encouraged to apply.

Requirements

Previous veterinary reception or customer service experience preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Passion for providing exceptional client service
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
High school diploma or equivalent
Weekend availability as needed
Ability to lift up to 30–50 pounds

Nice To Haves

Experience mentoring others or helping coordinate front desk operations is a plus

Responsibilities

Welcome clients and patients with warmth, professionalism, and compassion
Answer incoming phone calls and schedule appointments efficiently
Obtain and document accurate patient histories
Process invoices and payments
Verify vaccination status and required testing
Communicate patient arrivals and treatment needs with doctors and technical staff
Prepare prescriptions, diets, and over-the-counter products as directed by a veterinarian
Maintain accurate medical records and client information
Support daily hospital operations to ensure a seamless client experience
