About The Position

The Client Service Professional provides high-touch support to commercial clients and helps deliver an exceptional customer experience. The role serves as a liaison between commercial bankers and internal partners, including Deposit Operations, Loan Operations, Treasury Management, Private Client, Investments, and Retail Banking. It is the frontline primary point of contact for clients, handling daily service needs and requests while supporting client satisfaction and retention.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of customer service experience; retail or commercial banking experience preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to work within deadlines and prioritize projects.
• Self-motivated and an effective team player.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to support a seamless client experience.
• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment while maintaining individual accountability.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and workloads, especially during high-demand periods.
• Ability to manage multiple workflows and prioritize competing demands.

Nice To Haves

• Retail or commercial banking experience.
• Proficiency in core banking platforms such as FIS, FCM, and Salesforce.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the frontline primary point of contact for clients, providing day-to-day service, support, and solutions to promote client satisfaction and retention.
• Act as a liaison between Commercial Bankers and internal partners to ensure client needs are met efficiently and consistently, with a focus on service, accuracy, and communication.
• Process daily customer requests by phone or through systems, including account opening, troubleshooting, wire processing, advances, transfers, and loan paydowns.
• Maintain working knowledge of Wintrust products, services, policies, and processes, and provide accurate, current information and resources to clients.
• Ensure regulatory and compliance requirements are met.
