A day in the life: As a Client Support Specialist, you will be an integral team member who supports the Client Services and Sales teams with high quality work to ensure client needs and expectations are met. You will learn about the insurance industry from the ground up, handling key responsibilities such as data gathering and management, soliciting quotes from carrier partners, issuing, assisting with the renewal process and engaging in various client facing interactions. All Client Support Specialists can expect ongoing professional development opportunities that include On-The-Job Training with both management and team members, mentorship, career pathing and Tuition Assistance. You will also participate in ongoing L&D opportunities through our numerous MMA University Learning Series courses.

Requirements

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present clearly to diverse audiences.
  • Life & Health insurance licensure, or commitment to obtain licensure within three months of your start date.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams, clients, prospects, and vendors.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and execute client project plans and periodic presentations with service teams and sales partners.
  • Support RFPs, renewals, implementations, and post‑implementation activities for client benefit programs.
  • Pull, analyze, and validate benchmark survey data and summarize findings for internal teams and client materials.
  • Conduct research for client projects, gather vendor information, and prepare presentation materials.
  • Manage open enrollment communications and other employee-facing materials; review plan documents for design accuracy and discrepancies.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to client inquiries via phone, email, and other channels.
