About The Position

gTANGIBLE Corporation (gTC) is seeking a Client/Server Network Architect – Senior to provide top-level technical expertise for the design and development of a client/server environment. This role involves developing strategies for client/server systems and the necessary infrastructure, advising on technological purchases, and setting standards for the organization's client/server relational database structure. The position requires interfacing with customers, vendors, and technical staff, documenting engineering standards, and evaluating emerging network technologies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and 7-9 years of related experience or Associates degree and 9-11 years of related experience or 11-13 years of related experience without a degree.
• Must meet position and certification requirements outlined in DoD Directive 8570.01-M for Information Assurance Technician Level 2 within 6 months of the date of hire.
• Ability to solve complex problems with many variables.
• Minimum of 2 years of SAP experience required.

Nice To Haves

• Prior active duty in the U.S. Air Force a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise and assist with network integration and consolidation efforts across multiple network environments.
• Address and resolve complex technical problems relating to the installation and upgrade of network hardware and systems.
• Interface with customers, vendors, and other technical staff to analyze business and technical requirements.
• Document engineering standards.
• Lead in the development of network architecture and engineering designs and changes.
• Evaluate current and emerging network technologies.
• Conduct technical assessments and make recommendations to the Chief Engineer.
• Perform network modeling, analysis, and planning.
