About The Position

gTANGIBLE Corporation (gTC) is seeking a Client/Server Network Architect – Senior to provide top-level technical expertise for the design and development of a client/server environment. This role involves developing strategies for client/server systems and the necessary infrastructure, advising on technological purchases for processing, data storage, data access, and application development, and setting standards for the organization's client/server relational database structure. The position also requires advising management on the feasibility of future projects and providing technical expertise for network integration and consolidation across multiple environments. The successful candidate will address and resolve complex technical problems related to network hardware and systems installation and upgrades, interface with customers and vendors to analyze requirements, document engineering standards, lead the development of network architecture and designs, and evaluate emerging network technologies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and 7-9 years of related experience or Associates degree and 9-11 years of related experience or 11-13 years of related experience without a degree.
• Must meet position and certification requirements outlined in DoD Directive 8570.01-M for Information Assurance Technician Level 2 within 6 months of the date of hire
• Ability to solve complex problems with many variables.
• Minimum of 2 years of SAP experience required.
• Top Secret/SCI, SAP Information eligible, consent for Counterintelligence polygraph

• Prior active duty in the U.S. Air Force a plus.

Responsibilities

• Providing technical expertise and assist with network integration and consolidation efforts across multiple network environments.
• Addressing and resolving complex technical problems relating to the installation and upgrade of network hardware and systems.
• Interfacing with customers, vendors and other technical staff to analyze business and technical requirements.
• Documenting engineering standards, leads in the development of network architecture and engineering designs and changes.
• Evaluating current and emerging network technologies, conducts technical assessments and making recommendation to the Chief Engineer.
• Perform network modeling, analysis, and planning.
