SUMO Medical Staffing specializes in locum tenens placement for temporary and permanent positions in hospitals, private practices, government facilities, and medical centers across the United States. We are dedicated to placing the most qualified physicians and advanced practice providers (APP) in specialties such as psychiatry, internal medicine, hospitalist, family medicine, ER/urgent care, pediatrics, and many more. Earning Potential: $185,000 in first year

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with healthcare facilities and key decision-makers
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for client communication and support
  • Develop a deep understanding of client needs, preferences, and expectations
  • Ensure a high level of client satisfaction and long-term partnership retention
  • Identify new job opportunities and ongoing staffing needs within assigned accounts
  • Proactively engage clients to anticipate future needs and expand business opportunities
  • Support growth through account expansion and relationship development
  • Intake, manage, and prioritize job orders to ensure timely and accurate fulfillment
  • Clearly communicate job details, requirements, and expectations to recruiting partners
  • Set realistic timelines and expectations with clients and internal teams
  • Partner closely with Physician Recruiters to align on priorities and candidate pipelines
  • Provide feedback on candidate submissions and client preferences
  • Ensure strong communication between client and recruiting teams to drive successful placements
  • Negotiate rates, terms, and contract details within established company guidelines
  • Ensure agreements meet both client expectations and business objectives
  • Partner with leadership on complex negotiations as needed
  • Monitor progress on open roles and proactively address challenges or delays
  • Ensure consistent follow-up and communication with clients throughout the placement process
  • Gather feedback to continuously improve service delivery and client experience
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date client and job order information in CRM systems
  • Track activity, pipeline, and performance metrics
  • Ensure data integrity and adherence to internal processes
