About The Position

As a Client Representative for Hoffman Landscapes, you will be responsible for approximately 65 clients. Your primary focus is to cultivate and maintain strong relationships with each client, regularly engaging them with ideas for property enhancements. You will also monitor the quality and completeness of the work performed for our clients, ensuring it is of the highest standard. Your attention to detail, consistent communication, and thoughtful approach are key to providing exceptional customer service and true hospitality. Hoffman clients rely on our expertise not only for property maintenance but also for enhancing the beauty of their properties year after year.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in landscaping or a related field.
  • Proven experience in account management, preferably in landscaping, or related industries.
  • Strong understanding of landscaping services, landscape design, products, and industry trends.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • In-depth knowledge of landscape maintenance practices, including mowing, clean ups, lawn care, lawn renovation, tree and shrub care, plant bed and garden maintenance, plant identification, container gardening, and irrigation systems.
  • Must be able to work outdoors as needed in various weather conditions.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and collaborate effectively with team members.
  • Ability to manage multiple accounts simultaneously with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated sales ability with a track record of driving business growth and achieving targets.
  • Strong critical thinking skills with the ability to quickly resolve client concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple clients, properties, and priorities.
  • Strong listening skills and a desire to provide excellent customer care and true hospitality for every client.
  • High level of precision to ensure quality standards are met throughout the season.

Nice To Haves

  • A bachelor’s degree in business, horticulture, landscape architecture, or a related field is preferred but not required.
  • Familiarity with Aspire or similar landscape business management software is a plus.
  • Relevant certifications such as Certified Landscape Professional (CLP) or Certified Landscape Technician (CLT) are a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the main point of contact for assigned clients, addressing any concerns, inquiries, or requests.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships.
  • Conduct regular meetings and site visits to ensure clients' needs and expectations are being met.
  • Assist internal teams (production manager, designers, field staff, etc.) to ensure seamless delivery of services.
  • Perform Landscape Quality Audits regularly and submit feedback to the Production Manager and Branch Director.
  • Proactively address any service issues and escalate them as necessary.
  • Oversee the successful execution of work orders, ensuring client expectations are met.
  • Continuously strive to improve the client experience, offering innovative solutions and personalized service.
  • Consistently identify opportunities to enhance the beauty of assigned clients’ properties.
  • Prepare, present, and follow up on proposals for assigned clients.
  • Drive upsell and cross-sell opportunities for additional landscaping services.
  • Meet weekly to discuss quality assessments with the Production Manager and Branch Director.
  • Meet weekly to discuss proposals generated and opportunities for design assistance.
  • Assist in matters related to Billings or Collections, when necessary.
