About The Position
JN Bank Limited, part of The Jamaica National Group Limited, is seeking a suitably qualified and experienced Client Relationship Officer for its Mandeville Branch. The role assists the Branch Sales & Relationship Manager in executing plans and strategies to grow the business through existing customers and attract new customers, contributing to branch sales, service, and other targets. The position is a two-year contract.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Banking and Finance, Marketing, or another relevant field.
- At least one year of experience within the financial services industry.
- Exposure to mortgage and personal credit.
- Highly flexible and organized.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Knowledge of the Group’s operations and core business systems.
- Strong selling and relationship management skills.
- Engaging and dynamic personality with a strong customer service orientation.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic team environment.
- High proficiency in computer systems, particularly Microsoft Office Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Professionalism, dependability, integrity, and trustworthiness, combined with a cooperative attitude.

Responsibilities
- Ensure quality acquisition and referral of leads for JN Group products and services.
- Get to know existing members, profile them as prospects for additional products and services, discuss their needs, and sell suitable products and services.
- Track potential member and revenue losses, alert Branch Management, and assist in mitigating these circumstances.
- Provide information and service to members and customers of The Jamaica National Group, including account opening, registration, and explanation of available channels.
- Report issues affecting member or customer experience and follow up until they are resolved.
- Adhere to all policies, legal and regulatory controls, and procedures.
- Prepare applications and ensure they are ready for submission to the Adjudication team for approval consideration.
- Conduct reviews and assessments of credit applications in keeping with the 6 Cs of Lending in the organization’s Credit Policy Manual and check applications against prescribed risk acceptance parameters.
