Client Relationship Manager

KISH BANK•Lewistown, PA
•Onsite

About The Position

Kish Bank is hiring a Client Relationship Manager (CRM) for our Kish Creek Financial Center. This full-time, on-site client service role is ideal for a relationship-driven professional with a background in wealth management, financial planning, banking, or insurance client support. As a Client Relationship Manager, you are the primary point of contact for assigned clients. You'll independently manage client meetings, scheduling, documentation, service requests, and routine paperwork — while partnering closely with a Financial Advisor who handles planning, advice, and complex needs. You'll also own Kish Bank referral relationships from first contact through qualification, onboarding, and ongoing service. This is a growth opportunity to build a financial services career in central Pennsylvania with a community bank that invests in its people.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, business, accounting, economics, or a related field preferred — relevant financial-services experience may substitute for a degree
  • Experience in wealth management, financial planning, banking, insurance, or financial-services client support preferred
  • Strong understanding of financial planning concepts and products
  • Excellent relationship-building and communication skills
  • Sharp organization, time management, follow-through, and attention to detail
  • Proficiency with CRM systems, Microsoft 365, digital document and e-signature tools, and workflow-management technology
  • A genuine desire to learn, grow, and deliver outstanding client service

Nice To Haves

  • Licensing Series 7 and Series 66 (or Series 7, 63, and 65) plus applicable life insurance licensing preferred
  • If not already licensed, you must obtain licenses within one year of hire. Kish supports this effort with training.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary relationship contact for assigned clients, conducting periodic reviews covering goals, life changes, and service needs
  • Manage relationships within established authority while preserving each client's connection to their Financial Advisor
  • Coordinate with the associated Financial Advisor to define and reassess service boundaries, escalation criteria, and triggers for greater advisor involvement
  • Escalate complex planning, compliance, and opportunity matters — and coordinate orderly, documented handoffs when client needs exceed the CRM service model
  • Communicate responsibilities, timing, and next steps clearly to clients and internal teams
  • Manage client scheduling end to end: invitations, confirmations, rescheduling, and meeting preparation
  • Record complete meeting notes, action items, and follow-up tasks in our CRM system with timely post-meeting summaries
  • Own routine service requests from receipt through completion, coordinating with clients, custodians, carriers, and internal partners
  • Prepare, submit, and track routine service paperwork, signatures, and outstanding requirements while maintaining compliant records
  • Serve as the primary contact for Kish Bank referrals with timely, professional follow-up
  • Manage referrals through qualification, relationship assignment, onboarding, and ongoing service — coordinating handoffs with bank partners, advisors, and specialists
  • Track referral sources, prospect activity, relationship status, and outcomes
  • Review your assigned book of business to identify service, retention, growth, and segmentation opportunities
  • Manage onboarding from initiation through new business placement
  • Gather required statements and supporting materials
  • Track applications, outstanding requirements, and pending signatures
  • Deliver and review digital Welcome Packets with new clients
  • Maintain confidentiality, professionalism, and ethical standards
  • Participate actively in team meetings and continuous-improvement initiatives
  • Communicate and coordinate consistently with internal partners
