About The Position

Responsible for administrative support for the Project Management Team by being a liaison between project management and sample receiving/log-in to successfully intake and manage the clients' work. The Client Project Coordinator 1 oversees, reviews, completes, and processes various project management forms, documents, databases, and related materials and information. They act as a liaison regarding client project needs and provide guidance and suggested actions to the rest of the Pace team to ensure a successful project set up. This role also directs client calls and requests to the appropriate project manager for follow-up, schedules and enters bottle orders into the container order system based on the client's sample needs, and reviews the login dashboard and updates information and confirmations as necessary. Additionally, the coordinator assists with developing or participating in project management or cross-functional project or program objectives, which include proposed budgets, timelines, materials, personnel, and other project requirements, receiving direction and presenting information to management. They interpret and apply department policies and procedures, and assist with applicable laws, rules, and regulations, receiving guidance with these areas as needed. The role contributes to the efficiency and effectiveness of the department's service to its customers by offering suggestions and directing or participating as an active member of a work team. They promote and support the overall mission of Pace by demonstrating courteous and cooperative behavior when interacting with customers and staff, acting in a manner that promotes a harmonious and effective workplace environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, chemistry, biology, or a closely related field
  • One (1) year of customer service experience
  • Performing and providing professional-level customer service in a variety of markets.
  • Training others in policies and procedures related to the work.
  • Preparing functional reports, correspondence, and other written materials.
  • Using initiative and independent judgment within established organizational and department guidelines.
  • Using tact, discretion, and prudence in working with those contacted in the course of the work.
  • Contributing effectively to the accomplishment of team or work unit goals, objectives, and activities.
  • Establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with a variety of individuals contacted in the course of the work.
  • Principles, practices, and techniques of customer service.
  • Computer applications and systems related to the work.
  • Understanding of dealing with a variety of individuals from various socio-economic, ethnic, and cultural backgrounds, occasionally where relations may be confrontational or strained.
  • Correct business English, including spelling, grammar, and punctuation.
