About The Position

Cedarstone helps nonprofits change the world by running their back-office operations. We are looking for a Client Onboarding Project Manager to partner closely with our Client Experience and Financial Operations teams. In this role, you will be the architectural bridge that creates and leads a seamless implementation process for new clients and expanded services. You’ll take the baton from sales and design the roadmap that sets our clients up for long-term success.

Requirements

  • Professional experience in project management, implementation, professional services, nonprofit operations, or accounting operations.
  • Exceptional organization skills, clear communication, and a knack for building highly functional process documentation.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with AP, payroll, donation processing, or client service workflows is a huge plus.

Responsibilities

  • Own and drive onboarding plans, timelines, and cross-functional team tasks.
  • Coordinate the collection of essential setup details, from system access and banking to payroll and workflow requirements.
  • Partner with internal leaders to ensure receiving teams are fully prepared and workflow expectations are crystal clear before a project wraps up.
  • Continuously refine our onboarding checklists, templates, and tools while proactively keeping leadership ahead of any timeline or scope risks.
