About The Position

Cedarstone helps nonprofits change the world by running their back-office operations. The Client Onboarding Project Manager will partner closely with the Client Experience and Financial Operations teams. This role is responsible for creating and leading a seamless implementation process for new clients and expanded services, taking the baton from sales and designing the roadmap for client success.

Requirements

  • Professional experience in project management, implementation, professional services, nonprofit operations, or accounting operations.
  • Exceptional organization skills.
  • Clear communication skills.
  • A knack for building highly functional process documentation.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with AP, payroll, donation processing, or client service workflows.

Responsibilities

  • Own and drive onboarding plans, timelines, and cross-functional team tasks.
  • Coordinate the collection of essential setup details, including system access, banking, payroll, and workflow requirements.
  • Partner with internal leaders to ensure receiving teams are fully prepared and workflow expectations are clear before project completion.
  • Continuously refine onboarding checklists, templates, and tools.
  • Proactively inform leadership of any timeline or scope risks.
