Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in a client servicing capacity at a Retail Agency.
  • Communication Skills: Communicates clearly and professionally with clients, carriers, and internal staff. Listens actively and responds promptly to client requests and inquiries.
  • Attention to Detail: Takes ownership of work accuracy. Double-checks all processing, correspondence, and documentation before submission to ensure a high-quality work product.
  • Client Service: Aligns with Venbrook’s client-first culture. Responds promptly and diplomatically to client needs, communicates proactively, and meets all commitments.
  • Problem Solving & Decision Making: Identifies and resolves routine issues using available resources. Knows when to escalate to the Senior Client Manager to ensure the best outcome for the client.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Builds professional relationships with clients, carriers, and colleagues. Collaborative team player who supports colleagues and contributes to a positive team environment.
  • Functional/Technical Expertise: Demonstrates a working understanding of commercial P&C coverages, policy terms, and processing workflows. Pursues continuous learning and professional development.
  • Working knowledge of commercial P&C insurance coverages, policy terms, and processing procedures.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to work quality.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications; AMS 360 experience highly preferred.
  • Ability to prioritize workload and work effectively under deadline pressure.
  • Strong ethical standards and commitment to company values.
  • Proficient in common Microsoft Office applications – Word, Excel, etc.
  • AMS 360 experience required.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a client servicing role at a Retail Agency.
  • California Property & Casualty License required.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) preferred.
  • CIC Designation preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily processing of endorsements, coverage and policy changes, certificates, audits, billings, and general client correspondence in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Review insurance coverages and notify the Senior Client Manager when changes are required due to shifts in exposure, marketplace conditions, or general program improvement.
  • Demonstrate a working understanding of routine coverages and policy terms; articulate this information clearly to clients as needed.
  • Maintain professional relationships with clients, carriers, and internal staff.
  • Keep client files organized in accordance with Venbrook documentation procedures; document all client activities clearly and thoroughly.
  • Utilize all available resources to ensure timely completion of work; escalate complex issues to the Senior Client Manager as appropriate.
  • Assist the Senior Client Manager and Client Executive with preparation of underwriting submissions; send completed submissions to markets professionally and promptly.
  • Follow up with markets and monitor the quote and underwriting process to ensure established timeframes are met.
  • Prepare coverage letters, check policies for accuracy, issue binders, process invoices, and set up client files.
  • Identify and act upon opportunities to develop additional client revenue through cross-selling additional coverages or referrals.
