About The Position

We are seeking a highly motivated and client-focused Client Manager to serve as the primary relationship manager for a diverse portfolio of Commercial Lines and Agriculture insurance clients. This role is responsible for building and maintaining strong client relationships, delivering exceptional service, and ensuring clients receive tailored insurance solutions that protect their businesses, operations, and long-term success. The ideal candidate will have experience managing commercial insurance accounts, a strong understanding of agricultural risks and exposures, and a passion for providing consultative service. This individual will partner closely with producers, carriers, and internal service teams to drive client retention, growth, and overall satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Minimum 7-10 years of insurance account management experience, with a strong track record in Property & Casualty and Life & Health.
  • Demonstrated success managing complex, multi-location, or industry-specific accounts with minimal supervision.
  • Strong knowledge of insurance markets, risk management strategies, and advanced policy structures.
  • Experience supporting Agriculture, Farm & Ranch, Agribusiness, or related insurance programs preferred.
  • Proven leadership skills, with experience mentoring or managing support staff or junior team members.
  • Excellent client-facing communication, presentation, and strategic consulting skills.
  • Proficient in AMS360 and other relevant tools and platforms.
  • Active P&C and/or Life & Health licenses required.
  • Ability to handle high-pressure situations with poise and a client-first mindset.

  • Advanced certifications (e.g., CIC, CRM, CPCU) strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the lead relationship manager for a portfolio of complex, high-revenue accounts across P&C.
  • Manage an assigned book of Commercial Lines and Agriculture/Farm & Ranch insurance clients.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive account service strategies tailored to each client’s industry, risk profile, and business goals.
  • Manage and oversee all aspects of client engagement, including renewals, marketing to carriers, coverage negotiations, policy audits, and claims advocacy.
  • Cultivate trusted advisor status with client executives, acting as a consultative partner on risk mitigation and insurance program structure.
  • Lead internal servicing teams, coordinating the activities of Client Managers I/II, Producers, and support staff to ensure seamless execution and client satisfaction.
  • Anticipate client needs and proactively identify opportunities for program enhancements, cross-selling, and coverage optimization.
  • Oversee the integrity of all account documentation in AMS360, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and readiness for audit.
  • Stay abreast of emerging insurance trends, legislative developments, and market conditions to inform client advisement.
  • Participate in client stewardship meetings, proposal development, and presentations to executive-level decision-makers.
  • Mentor junior account management staff, providing training, technical guidance, and performance feedback.
