About The Position

At C3, our Client Managers are key in providing our clients with the experience that sets C3 apart in the industry. Client Managers provide fast, effective service of the day to day needs of our mid-sized and moderately complex clients by being knowledgeable in coverages, carrier guidelines, underwriting, and legislative changes, maintaining relationships with clients and carrier representatives and assisting in suggesting new lines of coverage for existing clients.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience
  • Expertise and experience to ensure smooth new and renewal marketing, placement, and policy delivery to producers or clients.
  • Servicing of accounts (endorsements, audits, invoicing, etc.)
  • Quality is key, and attention to detail
  • Well organized
  • Excellent at math
  • Great written and oral communication skills
  • Technology proficient
  • Team player
  • Willing to step up to other duties from time to time
  • Active P&C license

Responsibilities

  • Act as the main, day-to-day contact for clients in your book.
  • Prepare Applications and other documents required for a submission.
  • Perform Contract reviews for insurance requirements compliance.
  • Prepare Certificates of Insurance, Invoices, and Finance Agreements.
  • Process Endorsements, Audits.
  • Analyze and compare current exposures to develop renewal or new business specifications for marketing.
  • Conduct marketing, negotiate rates, and review quotes and coverages for competitiveness and accuracy.
  • Review and summarize marketing results and prepare proposals.
  • Monitor and manage the renewal marketing and bind process, in partnership with the Producer (and at times with a Client Executive).
  • Check binders, policies, endorsements, and audits for accuracy.
  • Prepare summaries and/or schedules of coverage for clients.
  • Participate in the claims process, including claim submission, follow-up, and overall communication.
  • Ensure financial aspects related to invoicing and premium financing are performed correctly and timely.
  • Maintain files in accordance with company policy and professional standards outlined by the Department of Insurance.
  • Have good verbal and written communication skills for both client and internal communication.
