About The Position

This is a fully remote position. The Client Liaison will act as a liaison between the servicer client and MRLP through all forms of communication regarding foreclosure files, including email, phone calls, and client and MRLP systems, such as BKFS (Black Knight Foreclosure Solutions). The role involves updating general foreclosure/judgment processes, performing quality control reviews of documents, and responding to general case inquiries. The position requires understanding mortgage foreclosure documents and practices, maintaining superior public relations with the servicer client, and providing service and client status updates. The Client Liaison will also assist with client-specific projects, conduct internal audits, and resolve complex issues between the servicer and MRLP. All communications must be returned within 24 hours.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent required
  • Minimum 2 years experience working in a mortgage foreclosure servicer environment
  • Skilled in Microsoft Word, Excel & Outlook
  • Advanced proficiency in BKFS/LPS desktop
  • Must be able to uphold a professional and courteous manner at all times
  • Be able to identify situations that may need escalation
  • Ability to conduct and report research
  • Ability to work under limited supervision and is self-driven

Responsibilities

  • Update general foreclosure/judgment processes on active files using Black Knight Foreclosure Solutions.
  • Perform initial quality control review of documents prepared by law firm that are uploaded to servicer for signature.
  • Request updates on files from Attorneys and Paralegals, answer emails, phone calls, and inquiries on assigned portfolio files, and direct clients or other staff members to correct contacts.
  • Review internal systems to provide a brief summary of results to the servicer.
  • Respond to general case inquiries on behalf of MRLP.
  • Assist with the completion of client-specific projects received from the compliance department.
  • Conduct internal audit projects, prepare detailed final reports, and communicate findings.
  • Work on complex issues involving resolution between servicer and MRLP.
  • Return all phone calls, emails, and intercoms/messages within 24 hours of receipt.
  • Maintain superior public relations with the servicer client.
  • Provide service updates, client status updates, and follow up on outstanding documents and/or services.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as needed.
