About The Position

Garden State Veterinary Specialists in Eatontown, New Jersey is seeking a Client Service Representative to support clients and veterinary teams in a busy specialty and emergency veterinary hospital. The role involves helping pet owners, including those with anxious pets, while providing a calm, compassionate, and professional client experience. The representative communicates with clients and the veterinary team, manages multiple phone lines, performs data entry and billing, and handles financial conversations. The position includes one of several listed schedules: Friday–Monday, 9:00 a.m.–7:30 p.m.; Thursday–Saturday, 7:00 a.m.–5:30 p.m.; Wednesday–Saturday, 1:30 p.m.–12:00 a.m.; or Thursday–Saturday, 11:30 a.m.–10:00 p.m. Some holidays are required. Starting pay is $21 per hour, with consideration for experience. Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. and proficient in spoken and written English.

Requirements

At least 1 year of client service experience.
Excellent communication skills, including the ability to communicate with clients and the veterinary team.
Ability to handle multiple phone lines, data entry, and billing.
Professionalism and ease when discussing financial matters.
Empathy, compassion, discretion, and a positive attitude.
Ability to speak, read, and write English proficiently.
