Property & Casualty Client Experience Manager

About The Position

At BIG Solutions, we're our clients' all-in-one business partner. Through a hands-on, people-first approach, we unify insurance, HR, benefits, and wealth management under one roof. Our clients get one trusted vendor and a seamless experience — and our team is the reason it works. If you know commercial lines inside and out and take pride in being the person clients call first, we want to meet you. The Role As our P&C Client Experience Manager, you'll own a book of commercial insurance accounts across a range of industries and coverage types. You're the primary point of contact for clients, carriers, and producers — the steady hand behind accurate policies, on-time renewals, and proactive account management. This isn't a role where you wait for direction. You'll use independent judgment on coverage, renewal strategy, and service decisions, and you'll direct the day-to-day work of Commercial Lines Assistants on your accounts. You'll report to the Director of Client Experience, P&C, and partner closely with producers and our sales team to retain and grow every relationship you touch.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of commercial lines account management or insurance agency experience
  • Active state Property & Casualty insurance license
  • Working knowledge of commercial coverages, policy processing, renewals, audits, and carrier/underwriter relationships
  • Experience issuing certificates of insurance
  • Valid driver's license and personal auto liability coverage (occasional travel to client sites)
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in business, insurance, risk management, or a related field (equivalent experience considered)
  • CIC, CISR, or CPCU designation
  • Experience with AMS360, Applied Epic, Salesforce, or similar agency management/CRM systems

Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of commercial accounts — general liability, property, auto, workers' comp, umbrella and more.
  • Handle policy changes, renewals, certificates, coverage questions, and claims assistance as clients' primary contact.
  • Gather underwriting information, market renewals, and secure carrier quotations.
  • Analyze coverage options and help clients choose the right solutions for their exposures.
  • Review policies for accuracy; process endorsements, audits, cancellations, and reinstatements; issue COIs and evidence of property insurance.
  • Partner with producers on retention, cross-selling, and account rounding.
  • Delegate routine servicing to Commercial Lines Assistants and review their work for quality.
  • Resolve complex coverage questions, claims issues, and client concerns.
  • Keep current on carrier products, underwriting guidelines, industry trends, and regulations.

Benefits

  • Competitive pay: Salary range begins at $70,000 based on experience
  • 15 days of PTO plus a full holiday schedule
  • Medical coverage: Choice of three Anthem plans — an HSA plan or two PPO options
  • Dental and vision: Anthem dental (100% preventive care, orthodontia for kids) and Anthem Blue View Vision
  • Tax-advantaged savings: HSA with employer contributions, plus General Purpose, Limited Purpose, and Dependent Care FSAs — with all FSA admin costs paid by BIG
  • $25,000 Basic Life and AD&D, plus short- and long-term disability, at no cost to you
  • Voluntary life for you and your family, and Aflac accident, cancer, and hospital coverage
  • Free, confidential Employee Assistance Program, 24/7 — counseling, legal, and financial resources
  • Work alongside insurance, HR, benefits, and wealth management experts under one roof
