About The Position

LabCorp is seeking a remote Anatomic Pathology Client Experience Manager to join our team. Due to travel requirements, this position will be based out of Washington, Oregon, or California. This position will require 30-40% travel. The role involves supervising the day-to-day operations of the AP Client Experience department, ensuring accurate and timely performance and reporting of laboratory tests. The manager will directly supervise, train, and mentor laboratory personnel, monitor daily workflow, and research/resolve production errors. A key aspect of the role is engaging in continuous process and service level improvements, ensuring equipment maintenance through Quality Control, and preparing/maintaining Quality Assurance records. The position also involves evaluating new process improvements, providing coaching and feedback to direct reports, and ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations. Administrative duties include managing policies and procedures, and processing payroll and personnel files. The role also entails leading a multi-site team that supports providers, patients, and stakeholders.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
  • 5 years or more of experience in client services, operations, or laboratory support within healthcare environment
  • 3 years or more of Leadership experience
  • Strong understanding of laboratory workflows, including accessioning, reporting, and client communications
  • Demonstrated commitment to exceptional client service, with a strong customer focus and the ability to engage with empathy and sensitivity when supporting patients and healthcare providers.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience managing teams, ideally across multiple locations
  • Proven ability to drive process standardization and operational improvement initiatives
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills
  • Highly self-motivated and resourceful, with the ability to work independently, take initiative, and demonstrate persistence in driving tasks and resolving challenges.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise the day to day operations of the AP Client Experience department
  • Ensure laboratory tests are accurately performed and results are reported in a timely manner
  • Directly supervise, train, and mentor laboratory personnel of the department
  • Monitor daily workflow in the lab
  • Research and resolve any production errors while escalating when necessary
  • Engage in continuous process and service level improvements
  • Ensure all equipment is being properly maintained through Quality Control
  • Prepare and maintain Quality Assurance records and documents
  • Evaluate new process improvements and make appropriate recommendations
  • Meet regularly with direct reports to provide coaching and feedback for their development
  • Ensure all work is in accordance with state and Federal regulations
  • Responsible for administering and managing policies and procedures
