About The Position

At North Shore Pediatric Therapy, the Family Child Advocate (FCA) is the primary point of contact for families, ensuring a smooth and supportive experience. FCAs are described as the calm in the chaos, problem solvers, and key players in providing exceptional service. They manage scheduling, address family needs, and ensure clinicians have a well-organized day. This role is crucial for ensuring children receive the care they deserve and that the center operates efficiently. The position is full-time, in-center, with a primary schedule of 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM, and one day per week requiring a 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM schedule. Approximately 50% of the time will be spent in the community building relationships. The compensation ranges from $21-25 per hour.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary support for families, handling schedule changes, questions, and updates.
  • Manage cancellations by converting them into makeups to maintain full schedules.
  • Make real-time adjustments to schedules as circumstances change.
  • Collaborate with Clinical Directors and therapists.
  • Ensure the clinic is organized, stocked, and operating efficiently.
  • Support local outreach efforts, including schools, events, and community partners.
  • Coordinate and host tours for prospective families.
  • Assist with center events and family engagement initiatives.
  • Manage online reputation by encouraging reviews and testimonials, and following up with families.
  • Partner with leadership on marketing efforts.
  • Act as the community-facing representative of the center.
