About The Position

At Gracent Pediatric Therapy, the Family Child Advocate (FCA) is the primary point of contact for families, ensuring their week is made easier by providing reassurance and orchestrating smooth operations so every child receives the care they deserve and every clinician has a well-organized day. FCAs are trusted partners to families, problem solvers, and crucial in delivering the exceptional experience NSPT is known for. They manage overwhelming situations, urgent reschedules, and complex clinic juggling to turn stress into solutions. This is a full-time, in-center position with a schedule of 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM, primarily based in Naperville, with weekly travel to support Elmhurst and Woodridge locations. The role is compensated hourly between $21-$25 USD, depending on experience and qualifications. Every hour of therapy is significant for a child's development, and the FCA makes these moments possible by maintaining full schedules, clear communication, and family support. Therapists, Clinical Directors, and families alike recognize the indispensable value of the FCA.

Responsibilities

  • Be the go-to support for families with schedule changes, questions, and updates.
  • Turn cancellations into makeups and keep therapist schedules running smoothly.
  • Make real-time adjustments when things shift (because they will!).
  • Partner with Clinical Directors and therapists across disciplines.
  • Keep the clinic humming: restock rooms, organize supplies, prepare new hire materials.
  • Support outreach, tours, events, and family-facing activities.
  • Drive positive family experiences, including thoughtful review requests.
