About The Position

Aston Carter is seeking a Client Engagement Manager for an existing vacancy. This permanent position is based in San Francisco, CA, and focuses on leasing and revenue generation. The role involves prospecting, developing tenant relationships, managing a pipeline of leasing opportunities, and driving deals from initial outreach to lease execution. The ideal candidate will be an entrepreneurial, self-starter comfortable in a 'hunter' role, capable of building a book of business from scratch and thinking creatively to unlock value. This is a fully onsite position.

Responsibilities

  • Prospect, source, and develop relationships with tenants across office, industrial, retail, and flexible-use spaces
  • Build and actively manage a pipeline of qualified leasing opportunities
  • Drive deals from initial outreach through LOI negotiation and lease execution
  • Consistently generate new business through outbound efforts, networking, and creative sourcing strategies
  • Develop and pitch innovative leasing structures to activate vacant spaces and land
  • Identify target tenants, industry verticals, and demand drivers to focus leasing efforts
  • Track market trends, competing properties, and tenant requirements to refine strategy
  • Prepare leasing materials, presentations, and deal analysis to win business
  • Partner with leadership to position and maximize revenue across underutilized assets
  • Contribute ideas on pricing, tenant mix, and go-to-market strategy
  • Work with internal teams (legal, finance, property management) to execute transactions smoothly
  • Coordinate with external brokers where needed to expand reach
  • Support leasing strategy with basic understanding of zoning, land use, or entitlement considerations (Nice-to-Have)
  • Collaborate with development teams when leasing intersects with project approvals or site planning (Nice-to-Have)
