About The Position

S&ME is looking for an eager and dedicated full-time Client Developer to join our Business Development team in Cincinnati and Columbus, Ohio. The Client Developer role involves leading strategic business development efforts and strengthening client relationships across various market sectors. You will work closely with local staff and leadership to drive growth, develop client engagement strategies, and help position S&ME as a trusted advisor and service provider in the Ohio region.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, marketing, construction, business, or a related field
  • Minimum of 6 years of technical and/or business development experience in the A/E/C industry
  • Economic Development experience and existing relationships
  • Existing relationships within the Commercial Real Estate, Architecture, Construction, and Engineering industries
  • Excellent communication skills-both written and verbal-to engage clients and internal teams effectively
  • A track record of achieving sales targets and expanding market share

Responsibilities

  • Cultivate and enhance relationships with existing and potential clients in multiple market sectors.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to establish sales goals and business plans that align with regional growth objectives.
  • Collaborate with Marketing and Project Management teams on proposals, RFQs, and promotional efforts.
  • Plan and attend local industry events and association functions to increase visibility and market presence.
  • Lead monthly business development meetings and drive alignment between teams and strategic goals.
