Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with attention to detail, accuracy and pacing.
  • Superior computer literacy skills (e.g., Microsoft Excel, Access, Word, Power Point) and the ability to learn new computer applications with ease.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Interest in issues relating to homelessness, mental health and/or substance abuse.
  • Work requires continual attention to detail in managing data, processing information and establishing priorities.

Nice To Haves

  • knowledge of statistical software (e.g., SPSS) is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for all aspects of overseeing and supporting the program- wide case management databases.
  • Serving as a program liaison for various client databases.
  • Assisting with data quality assurance processes.
  • Develop and distribute targeted materials to staff covering basic training, policies and procedures, and related topics.
  • Conduct regular introductory trainings for new program staff, and ongoing specialized trainings for more advanced AWARDS and CARES.
  • Facilitate technical assistance for database users.
  • Customize database functionalities as necessary to ensure maximum efficiency and effectiveness of use.
  • Assist with the preparation of program reports comparing key data from the case management database to internal monthly reports. Program reports may include daily data reports, on-going placement tracking reports, monthly BRC reports, quarterly DHS reports and other reports as needed by either the funder or BRC.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
