About The Position

Marsh McLennan Agency (MMA) is seeking a Client Coordinator Team Lead for their Agribusiness team. This role involves collaborating with an Assistant Vice President (AVP) to manage job duties, work assignments, and procedures for Client Coordinators. The Team Lead will conduct monthly one-on-one meetings with direct reports to discuss progress and development, and regularly share feedback with the AVP. Responsibilities include reviewing and approving timesheets and PTO requests, managing all Client Coordinator team training (including onboarding new hires and identifying training needs for current staff), and monitoring to-do lists to assign tasks. The Team Lead will also back up AVP duties related to the Client Coordinator team in the AVP's absence and assist with day-to-day Client Coordinator duties as needed. These duties may include creating renewal packets, requesting loss runs, summarizing premiums and losses, creating renewal certificate holder lists, issuing auto ID cards, updating certificate templates, handling BPRC activities, mailing policies, setting up proposal templates, managing endorsement activities, following up with clients, handling claims notifications, and managing specific livestock-related business for the Canopius program. The role also involves assisting Client Managers with EPIC-related functions such as setting up marketing submissions, adding BR-M activity, creating workbooks for auto/driver/equipment, moving marketed policies, downloading policies, and other tasks as directed by agency management.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent, required.
  • 2+ years of experience working in customer service, underwriting, commercial lines insurance for a carrier or broker preferred.
  • Must be detailed with excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Good interpersonal skills and a high sense of urgency.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a proven ability to establish relationships at all levels.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft office applications required.
  • Must have the ability to work under pressure and multi-task.
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced team environment and communicate effectively.
  • Self-starter with good time management skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Property/Casualty license or ability to attain is required.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with AVP in creating and assigning Client Coordinator job duties, work assignments, and procedures.
  • Conduct monthly 1:1s with direct reports, regularly discussing each Client Coordinator’s progress and development.
  • Meet on a regular basis with AVP to share feedback from 1:1s.
  • Review and approve time sheets and PTO requests; approving PTO based on team needs.
  • Maintain responsibility for all Client Coordinator team training, including the onboarding and training of new hires as well as working with current team members to identify training needs and execute additional training as needed.
  • Monitor Client Coordinator to-do lists and assign tasks as necessary.
  • Backup AVP duties related to the Client Coordinator team in AVP’s absence.
  • Assist team in day-day Client Coordinator duties as needed, including but not limited to: Creating renewal packets, Requesting loss runs, Creating premium and loss summaries, Creating renewal certificate holder lists, Issuing auto ID cards, Updating certificate templates, Handling BPRC activities, Mailing policies, Setting up proposal templates, Handling all endorsement activity including change requests, follow up, checking (direct bill) and delivery to the client (direct bill), Following up with clients regarding driver and equipment lists, Claims notification and follow up, Handling livestock auction claims for the Canopius program, Handling assigned livestock-only book of business, Assist in preparing marketing submissions, Issuing certificates based on existing templates, Handling monthly stock reports.
  • Assisting Client Managers with EPIC related functions such as Setting up Master Marketing submissions, Adding BR-M Activity for each expiring policy as needed, Creating Auto, Driver and Equipment Excel workbooks, Moving Marketed policies to Current policies, Downloading policies and sending to Patra for checking.
  • Assist or complete other tasks and projects as directed by Agency management.
