Client Care Specialist | Experienced Home Health Aide (HHA) or State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA)
About The Position
Freedom Caregivers is seeking a dedicated and experienced Home Health Aide (HHA) or STNA to fill the role of Full-Time Client Care Specialist (CCS) in Wooster, OH. This role offers an exciting opportunity to grow, lead, and impact the lives of clients and caregivers. As a CCS, you will play a vital role in ensuring clients receive exceptional care while supporting the growth and success of the agency. This position involves delivering outstanding customer experiences, ensuring continuity of care by covering open client shifts, empowering caregivers through training and mentorship in clients' homes, collaborating with supervisors on caregiver performance and satisfaction, and upholding agency policies and standards.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an HHA or STNA.
- Ability to work flexible shifts between 8 am and 6 pm Monday – Friday and occasional weekends if needed.
- Clear communication in English, both written and verbal.
- Tech-savvy and comfortable using smartphones and mobile apps.
- Excels in customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment, quickly building rapport with clients and caregivers.
- Ability to maintain a professional demeanor and work collaboratively to meet agency needs.
- Must have a valid Ohio Driver’s License.
- Reliable and consistent transportation.
- Current proof of auto insurance.
- HHA or STNA certification.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
- Physically able to lift, push, pull, or carry up to 50 lbs.
Responsibilities
- Deliver outstanding customer experiences by building lasting relationships with clients, families, and caregivers.
- Ensure continuity of care by stepping in to cover open client shifts as needed.
- Train and mentor new caregivers directly in clients' homes.
- Communicate caregiver performance and satisfaction updates to supervisors.
- Follow all caregiver responsibilities and uphold agency policies, procedures, and high standards of conduct.
