About The Position

As a State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) at Ohioans Home Healthcare & Hospice, you will play a key role in an organization with a reputation for unsurpassed quality care, a close-knit, family-friendly culture, and a supportive management team. This is a FULL TIME, Monday through Friday, hourly position. You can use your knowledge, skills, and judgment to independently provide the highest level of treatment, as well as work additional hours, as desired. Orientation is robust with lecturing, field time, shadowing, and preceptor support, but training doesn’t stop there. We offer skill labs, plus the outstanding Elsevier Home Health Care platform, available on any mobile device, that includes quick access to drug information, patient education, animations, videos, illustrations of procedures, updates on best practices, and online assigned tasks and training. As a member of our home health aide team, you will have the opportunity to build satisfying one-on-one, long-term relationships and witness positive outcomes as patients regain health and increase independence.

Requirements

  • One year of recent experience in home healthcare preferred
  • Current STNA certification
  • CPR certification
  • TB test within the last year
  • Ability to travel for in-home patient visits
  • Exceptional time-management skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills

Responsibilities

  • Independently provide the highest level of treatment using knowledge, skills, and judgment.
  • Provide exceptional services in the Michigan service area.
  • Build satisfying one-on-one, long-term relationships with patients.
  • Witness positive outcomes as patients regain health and increase independence.
