About The Position

As a client care representative, your duties will include: welcoming clients in a friendly, helpful, and compassionate manner; preparing and reviewing documents and medical records accurately and completely; educating and advising clients regarding Veterinary Specialty Hospital services and practices; processing emergency check-ins promptly and efficiently; scheduling and checking-in regular appointments and tending to all client requests while ensuring the highest quality of care and satisfaction for clients at all times. You will also process admissions and discharges accurately, schedule follow-up appointments as necessary, and process invoices and payments accurately. Maintaining client/pet records and files in accordance with legal requirements, assisting with other administrative duties such as scanning, faxing, emailing, and submitting pet insurance, answering multiple phone lines promptly and professionally, directing calls, faxing and scanning, updating clients of wait times and delays, and ensuring the cleanliness of the lobby and exam rooms are also key responsibilities.

Requirements

  • One year of customer service experience
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, highly collaborative environment
  • Commitment to develop long-term relationships with colleagues, clients, and community
  • Detail oriented with good organizational, communication and time management skills
