About The Position

The Virginia Veterinary Center in Short Pump, VA is hiring a full-time Client Care Specialist to join their outstanding team. This position is on the evening shift, working 2pm - 12am, four 10-hour shifts per week, with weekends as needed. The Virginia Veterinary Center is a multi-specialty referral practice and emergency hospital caring for animals in the greater Richmond area. Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Willing and able to work days/evenings and weekends.

Nice To Haves

• Vocational certificate/diploma in business or office administration preferred.
• Experience in the veterinary or medical field is a plus.

Responsibilities

• High volume receptionist experience desired with proficiency in multi-line phone and computer systems.
• Friendly, poised, and client-focused approach.
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
• Proficient typing skills and comfortable navigating digital records systems.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to quickly learn how to use internal company software systems.
• Well organized.
• Ability to handle high pressure and stressful situations and events in a calm supportive manner.
• Ability to review estimates, discuss financial options, and process payments.
